A1 Right around the corner:

Wow what a off season... Can't believe that A1 2013 is right around the corner. The guys are working hard to get ready for the new season they are in great shape our Power Motorsports KTM'S are dialed and we are excited to get things rolling. Please check back for our weekly Blogs starting right after the first round Jan 5th. Thanks again to all our sponsors we could not do any of this with out you.

Team Update Nov 2013

Busy busy busy thats all I can say right now. Things are going great with the team so far for the 2013 season. Our Power Motorsports KTM'S are great the guys really like them and they are getting more and more dialed each week on their new rides. Horban is down in California now getting his stuff dialed in doing lots of training and Collin and Jake have both been racing as much as possible putting in race laps on the new bikes before they head south in a few weeks. Still lots to do in what seems like not enough time but it will all get done. We are still looking for support to help out with expenses and entry fees etc, we have a few things in the works but everyone is really far behind this year in the industry with budgets. Thank you for all the continued support and please support all our sponsors none of this could be possible without them.

RF Motorsports USA Washougal Weekend

Well our 2nd attempt at the Lucas Oil Outdoor Nationals at Washougal MX Park turned out to be a lot better then our first try was at Hangtown. The weekend started with Chris Howell racing in the Big Thursday Night MX race at Portland International Raceway. Chris rode great against some very stiff competition and finished a very respectable 12th overall on a super gnarly track. Friday afternoon we got the bikes finished with some new tires/fresh graphics and through tech inspection and set up our pit area for the next day.

2012 SX Season Wrap Up.

The 2012 Supercross season is over and done I can't believe how the time went by so fast. Our season this year was a learning one and I feel we learned a lot right from the get go thats for sure. The biggest thing I learned was how ridiculously expensive this sport is to do on your own, way more then I anticipated and makes me even appreciate the dedication of most privateers even more that do it with little or no help. This season we had Mikey Horban on TV a few times so that was really cool he was so close so many times this season to making a main but was always just a bit short but he worked his butt off all season long so you have to give him huge props for that.

Salt Lake City Supercross and more..

Well lets start off with congatulations to Collin Jurin for making his first Main event in the Lites class and also the first main event for the team. Collin rode great transfering out of his heat race with a 9th place from not a very good start so kudos to him working through the pack to get into the main.
The main event didn't go as good as he hoped making a few mistakes and having a few close calls he made the decision to pull off and stay safe finishing 20th. He learned a lot and now will start to focus on outdoors on the 450.

Seattle Supercross Race Report

WOW.. What a great Seattle Supercross at Century Link Field. The weather could not have been more perfect for a fun filled day of Supercross in the Northwest. First off we would like to thank all the thousands of fans that came by and supported the whole team it was pretty amazing the amount of support for these 3 great riders they signed everything from hats, shirts, posters and from what I saw one chest!!
Collin Jurin did great in his Supercross Lites debut. In his heat race a guy got messed up in front of him in the first corner and he went down, Collin got up and like a true professional charged hard passing a lot of guys to finish a solid 12th.

The Latest with RF Motorsports USA

Well its been a couple weeks since our last blog and a lot has been going on. Mikey Horban is still going strong at the SX events he is able to attend. At Houston SX Mikey got a chance to race Josh Hills bike for the Hart & Huntington Kawasaki team but a little spill in practice forced him to sit out that night so that was a big bummer for Mike but hopefully he can get the opportunity to do it again. Mike is living back up in Oregon now riding and training at his house getting ready for the last 3 events.

Weekend Recap.

Another great weekend of racing for RF Motorsports USA rider Chris Howell at the Kalispell, Montana Arenacross. The Event was stacked with talent..
Crater, Abrigo, Vawser, Siebler, Lacey and many more.Friday Night was a Unlimited Pro class event Chris went 4-5 and in Saturdays Big event Chris went 5-3 in the 250 class and 4-2 in the 450 class. Mikey Horban took the weekend off to regroup and get ready for this weekends Supercross in Indianapolis, Mikey has some things to prove to some people so look for him to give it everything he has this weekend just like he always does. Collin had another great weekend of riding and is heading to California this friday to do some training/riding with friends Mikey Horban and Kevin Urquhart. Again thanks for all the continued support for the guys and our team.

St Louis SX/NW National MX Series Round 1&2

What a great weekend of racing at the 1st round of the P.R.O Northwest National MX Series in Richland,Wa. I went just for Saturday to support Chris Howell in the 250/450 pro class and the unlimited pro class. Chris rode great and I was for sure super impressed by how he rode outdoors, the class was stacked with all the best riders in the Northwest for sure..Crater, Abrigo, Rookstool, Anstett, Mort and many others. Chris in the 250 class went 2-5/ 4-2 out of 21 and in the 450 class went 4-3/ DNF-4 out of 28.

Dallas SX/Atlanta SX/Latest News

Its been a couple weeks since my last weekly team blog and we have have been busy thats for sure. Mikey Horban has been racing the last two rounds of the Supercross series in Dallas and Atlanta with some solid results. In Dallas he qualified 29th Fastest and ended up falling in his heat race but came back to a respectable 8th in the LCQ. Its still so amazing the level of talented riders that aren't making it into the main events it shows you how deep the field is this yr. In Atlanta Mike Qualified 35th but come race time came down with a super bad stomach bug that would not let him finish either race.
